A. Motofino Group Company CN is the manufacturer, and MotoFino USA is the United States distributor.
A. There is a world of difference between a MotoFino scooter and any other China manufactured scooter. We decide which parts will go into the scooter. We set up the assembly line. We train the assembly workers. We set up the Quality Control procedures and standards. This makes a huge difference in the end quality of a scooter.
A. In short, we manufacture to our own specifications. Many other manufacturers buy their parts on an open market in China, incorporating whatever parts they can find the cheapest into their vehicles. MotoFino makes it a point to develop our own parts to our own specifications to ensure longevity of the vehicle and rider safety.
A. Yes. This is one key point that sets us above most of the competition. Motofino has a 38,000 square foot distribution center in Augusta, Georgia that is devoted to stocking and shipping our entire range of products. From the vehicles themselves to the engines, light bulbs, frames, ignition sets, drive belts, you name it, we have it. Dave Richeson is our friendly and knowledgeable National Parts and Service manager, and will be happy to help you with your technical questions or parts orders.
A. As the manufacturer we have committed to the motor scooter industry for the long-term. It is true that the “fast buck artist” have given the scooter industry a bad name; but MotoFino is a profitable and stable company that has made a commitment to quality and longevity. Plus, we love this business!
A. Yes, we do introduce new models from time to time. However, most of our models have a timeless quality to them – from the classic to the sporty. You will enjoy the MotoFino design for many years.
A. Many or most of our dealers have a website. Some of the dealers will ship anywhere in the US. But we do not allow one dealer to sell into the territory of another dealer. Although we have no protected territory, we want each dealer to be successful.
A. Yes, we meet or exceed all NHTSA and EPA specifications for our vehicles to be street legal.
A. The answer is yes and no. You really need to check with the Department of Motor Vehicles in your state. Each state has some variation in licensing depending on the size of the engine.
A. It depends on which state you live in. In most cases, we supply our dealers with a Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin, which they will then pass on to you and you will use this to register with your local government, and the DMV will issue you a new title. In other states, the dealer is required to register the vehicles and get the title before sale. So either way, you will be provided with the paperwork you legally need.
A. Even more so! We have a saying here at MotoFino that is so true: “It’s a great day to ride a MotoFino!”
